I began a series of gouache "studies" for larger oil paintings.  I quickly fell in love with the gouache medium!  I love the immediacy of it, the and the vibrancy of the colors.  So, I held aside my very favorites and finished them to stand as paintings in their own right.  Then, I thought:  what now?  And I let them sit.  I did do some oil paintings from some of them , and I have to admit, that the gouache version still tug at my heart strings.  So, I still thought:  what now?  And I finally decided to frame a few, very simply and offer them for sale, and just see if others like them as much as I do.  They would make the perfect gift!  For someone else, or yourself!!
